LOL it's pretty thick. It's half of the bracket from an RKL kit I bought from an area reefer over a year ago just because I needed one the brackets.

I was just thinking I need to clean up the lines a bit and maybe build an acrylic cover that will hide the back a bit. I'm done adding equipment other a SL1 module to control pH via kalk so just one more probe and another liquid line...::)

I put in another order to BRS just moments ago.

This time it's the SL1 module for the RKL, a hub to give my RKL more bus ports and me the availability to expand, a Toms Aqua Lifter + the pre-filter + a spare diaphragm kit, and a 55G bucket of RS Coral Pro.

Yesterday I added a frag of this uID sps http://www.3reef.com/forums/sps-corals/sps-id-if-you-can-144771.html in hopes that it will acclimate and take off well enough to get better images of the polyps.

    FTS for March.

I've removed both of the feather dusters. I got paranoid about one or both dying and poisoning the tank when they began to decay.

I've added a SL1 module to the RKL and will use that to control pH through kalk dosing. This will be done separate from the ATO. A Toms Aqua Lift was chosen for the delivery pump.

Thanks John. I'm still on the hunt for an undata or some other encrusting Monti.

The purple haze and rainbow in my 75 were both over grown by mint button polyps so I have nothing on hand. I'll find one piece locally someday and the tank will be complete.

Do you think a couple calcareous algae would enhance the look or just crowd it up more? I was thinking some money plant tossed in among the rocks.

I order some branching coralline clusters but haven't received them yet.

Bummer on the loss of the encrusting montis.

I think calcareous algae would look good if kept trimmed to match the tank's size.

Made an impulse buy on Saturday. The LFS had a mated pair of ORA neon gobies and since I do so much trading with them, the owner gave me the pair at his cost + 5%.
I knew the neon dottyback was going to be a problem but bought them anyway. I was right, it bullied them both the instant it they were added.
Long story short, I tried all day yesterday to net the dottyback. I didn't want to take all the rock out because the little ecosystem is beginning to balance out. Last night I built a "mini" bottle trap from a 12oz pop bottle, soaked it in vinegar solution overnight. I had the dottyback out in less than an hour this morning. It's now been re-homed. The goby pair can now come out and rest in peace. They look more at home in the small tank than the dottyback did so I'm happy I let impulse get the best of me.
Pics of the new pair coming soon.

Congrats on getting the Dottyback out. Glad the impulse buy is working out.
