Ok so I thought of this idea yesterday for the ultimate fish enjoyment room.... Alright so imagine a dark room with no windows and no lights on... On one wall you have a long planted tank, on the opposite wall a long reef tank... In the middle of the room you have two couches, each pointing to one of the tanks. And on one of the empty walls a wet bar(you can't have an awesome fish room without a wet bar). So you can walk in and choose which tank to watch! And remember the only light in the room is the tanks so they are the only thing you can look at. I don't know, I'm sure it's been done before but I think it's an awesome idea.

    Thanks for your time.:)

Haha. Needs the wet bar. It would definitely make a nice addition. It seems as though you dont see many aquarists keeping both fresh and salt water at an advanced level. Maybe its just me though... Except for 2in10 (John) his planted tank is incredible and so is his reef. Seeing both of them in the same place would be the best of both worlds. With a wet bar.

Lol yeah. I've been doing fresh for awhile. Once I get my reef up I'll have both. I love the simplicity of freshwater but I also love the complex beauty of salt.

no beer for him, he is 14;D Would be an awesome set up though! I love to sit and think about how I could do my dream fish room if only had the dough! I would have couple different tanks built into the room on various walls, one would be a shark/ray tank with a large golden puffer and other predator fish, one would be a tank full of all the non-reef safe fish with various angels and butterflies, and then finally one would be a fully stocked reef tank with various corals and tangs etc! And i would have a large HDTV on the final wall with a recliner and couch set up in the middle of the room. I would never ever leave

ahh ha-ha forgot to look at his age, well then, YOU let us know when yours is done. i'll bring the beer ;D i've always wanted a big tank cuz of how awesome it looks but after seeing and reviewing the maintenance on countless 500+ gallons aquariums and 100 gallon water changes i'll leave it to the rich and/or pros.
