ReefSparkey, I see what you mean, I hope that I'm not wrong and hopefully Ultraner can confirm it but it looks like the 4x4's have notch cut out of them that the 2x4's sith in them and in turn the 4x4's will support all the weight. I really hope I'm right because if not I hope Ultraner catches it before the next thing he buys for his tank is a mop. But, he says this is his first tank but, by the construction for that beautiful stand I would like to polygraph that guy haha

I updated recently in another post that I was trying to cool off the color of my tank and would be replacing a few bulbs. These are the same pics from that thread and a few extra of some coral. Hope you enjoy.

Wonderful tank and stand, seem you did a great job on everything. It is really helpful for me to see how you set it up, because i am one of the newest in this hobby, please keep this update, i might follow what you did. if possible please list more detail for the equipment you use, and how much they are, or how you choose them. cant wait until its set.... upload more picture if you can, i really really will keep my eyes on it... good job, keep up...
