    Maybe they didn't come on your live rock, maybe they came on more recent coral purchases or something.

    Yesterday I actually noticed one of my asterinas eat a very small bit of coraline off my glass. But I don't care - I've got enough of it!

    Plus, the amount it ate was like the size of a pen nib, so I don't think that will make that much difference. I'd rather have the stars than coraline anyway!

    me too i dont even have coralline on my glass but these guys are adorable! makes me happy

    look very closely. my ex, me and her sissy made a game out of it. good way to keep a 7 year old, 20 year old and 24 year old entertained for a couple hours :eek:

    I wish they would eat just the coraline on the glass. I owuld love them. the coraline on my rocks is beautiful, but the stuff on the glass is a PITA

    It's really fun trying to spot the new life. Just yesterday I noticed two tiny new feather dusters in my 37! They are sooo cute and bright red/orange!

    They just popped up after 6ish months!
