    Is it a bad idea to cure live rock in a new tank set-up? I was planning to leave the sand out untill the rock is cured and then start new.

    *new tank is 75 g w/30g sump/refugium

    go for it! people sometimes cycle their tanks with live rock but it might take a little longer...try kick starting it with a piece of shrimp. might do the trick.
