yea ok so i was wrong, haha, well kinda, i will need a 2 way and a 3 way splitter and another transformer.

So for a 5 strip setup it would run me around 170
    Then i plan to add,
Power Filter for Small & Desktop Aquariums: Azoo Palm Filter
and depending on temp in tank,
    Fluval Edge Heater - 25W

All said and done I will try and keep the tank budget under $200. I may just start with 3 led strips and see how that works, ecoxotic claims that the reef ready version with 3 strips will support sps, so i guess i will find out. haha

The tank, and 2 hydor pico pumps that go in the false wall.

The tank is 12x12x12 the false wall is 3 in from the back. So guess i can stuff some carbon down in the back there. haha

I think this would be great for a grow out tank, especially when i have the money to do a big saltcritters order! get a ton of $5 frags, this would work great. :)

I think the tank civic has is very simular tank to the aqueon evolve 8gal tank. He said his was 12x12x12 where as the 8 is 13x13x14. But its looks the same style all in one tank.

this is tank, and he said he had the acrylic wall done by a local acrylic guy, also comes with a media rack, and 2you hydir pico pumps. For the price i think it is a pretty good deal.

here are some pics of the tank, cant wait to get this.

So tank, media rack, and 2x hydor pico 400 pumps. Should I run this without a lid? I am worried about evap, maybe I can just get a piece of acrylic from homedepot to make a retrofit top?

What would be a good light setup for this? Would 1 par 30 or 38 bulb be enough? I really want something more slim and sleek tho, preferably a light that clamps on the rim and has a very small profile. That is part of what i liked about the ecopico tank. Cant really justify buying that light system tho unless I got the tank. Its $50 for the light arm alone. I can get the whole ecopico tank with light and filtration for that!

GF got a voice mail yesterday saying the bank has an offer for her, so assuming she is getting the job! After she talks to them today I will know for sure and will be able to pay for the tank.

I am thinking yasha goby and pistol shrimp would be great in this little tank, and then just a bunch of corals! woohoo i cant wait!
