Anybody ever tried putting a submersible fiber optic camera or a micro camera in their tank? There are a lot of options out there and I was wondering if anyone has any experience in the matter?

I dont know if I would put it in the tank, but a web cam would be cool.

I've seen several tanks which had webcams mounted on a computer or wall near by. Some also hook them up to a live stream and put the weblink in their signature (for others to see and also so they can check on it when away from home).

I love the idea, though I don't know if there would be much benefit to it being in the water.

I would have to think keeping a cam in the tank would get coated with coraline.

The thought that has been in my mind for a long time is......

A web controllable submarine rigged with a webcam.

In reality, I was thinking a web camera with pan and zoom that people can view and control anytime they want.
