I just brought home a juv. Unicorn tang, i also have a Coral Beauty that I supplement dried seaweed twice a week or so. My question is, How often should I keep seaweed in the tank for them without raising my nitrates, or algea too much?? I had a prob with high nitrates, then cut back on my feeding aloto, anf they're below 20 ppm notw, and i would like them to stay low, but the tang, and angel appear VERY thankful for the dried seaweed!! What should I do??

Well you picked quite possibly the Largest Tang there is. Might be a problem in a 75G tank.

Any way. I use an algae clip that suction cups to the glass. After about 30 minutes if the fish aren't touching it it can easily be removed.

Mind you I've never had that problem my Tangs clean it out is seconds
