Unidentified Yellow Stuff/Fungus? lol

    i have a neon green mushroom that has attached itself to an old candy cane coral skeleton..but underneath skeleton is this Unidentified Yellow Stuff/Fungus? lol...i was wondering if anyone has ever seen anything like this and do u know what it is? it could also be a type of sponge..thanks

    Yea those were the best shots i could get..maybe ill take it out and try to photo it..or wait intil it grows..i know nothing about sponges..but it has got to be some type of yellow sponge/slime..sry
