Last Friday I got a red planet and a forest fire monti on ebay. The seller (reefgardener) had also sent a free acropora in the box, which made me think she mixed up the boxes when shipping, but as I looked in the bags I realized the other 2 frags that I did order were there. So, i've been googleing to see if I could find a match, but have not been lucky yet.

Can you help me ID this Acropora? It looks golden toned and I haven't seen the polyps yet. Here's a pic:

Thank you in advance, as always and sorry for the blurry pic!! That's the best I got!

Because of it's color and size it maybe near to impossible to get the exact ID at this point.

When it colors up and grows some an ID maybe possible.

Under the right conditions many acorporas can become beautiful pieces, and a welcome surprise.

Congrats on the freebie, Acros are notoriously difficult to ID with out a genetic test.

It's a triclolor stag! The seller just replied my email and ID it for me. Here's what it can look like when it grows and I think you can click to enlarge the pic:

Congrats on the ID, looks like you are going to have another great looking coral.

They are cool about adding a random frag every once in a while.
