    I got a picture of a coral i picked up at the LFS. He wasn't sure what it was so i'm looking for alittle help figuring out what it is.

    yeah i know its a filter feeder thats forsure. tiny little pplyps and they only come out when food is present it seems..

    i have a zooplex for filter feeders and marine snow. spot feeding with a baster ok? i have it in a low lit area with moderate flow. close proximity to some xenia and a pagoda cup. any problems? i could move it with some zoas if that would be better

    Spot feeding is the way to go.

    Some seem to be nearly impossible to keep alive while others do well. I had one for several years that I fed about once every 2 weeks and it must have grown an additional 15-20 stalks and as healthy as can be. On the other hand I have gotten them in and they never do well from the get go.

    im using the right stuff? kent zooplex and marine snow? anything else you'd recommend?
