Unknown coral

    I just got this coral from a fellow Chicago reefer as an unknown SPS, anyone want to try to hazard a guess? The encrusting edge is green and the rest is kind of greyish (which I am hoping will color up). Any feedback, right or wrong is appreciated, I would give my own input but I don't want to distort any guesses. . .

    No idea but it would be way cool if it all turned out green. Good Luck

    I'll get better pics tomorrow under the light but serious (cereal for phamrjon if he sees) what if it did turn green!!!! That would be sweet. The guy had a 4 or 5 T5 set up, I've got a MH/PC combo so we'll see what the difference makes. . .

    We've got one vote for favia. . .

    going to have to agree with Chuck here, pretty sure it's Psammocora. I think this case is closed. . .

    Thanks Chuck! I had looked through that coral genus ID you posted too (just so you know people are reading it) and missed that, I was leaning towards something on the first page.
