Unknown crab and purple bubbles??

    hi guys im new to all this marine fish buisness, ive had my tank setup for about a month and half now and i got a nice piece of live rock with polyps on and in it came a pair of crabs! not too sure what they are or weather there good or bad hoped you guys could help on that one, also ive noticed some purple bubbles forming??

    Eriphia sebana crabs are very aggressive and should be removed.

    Botryocladia algae can spread as well. I would remove that as well.

    The hermit crab is fine but that rock is covered in Botryocladia algae and needs to get out of there. The other crab I am not sure but I would bet inwall is correct. If you don't know take it out until you do!!

    Oh my god , Thats the same crab i have been trying for the last 2 weeks to id!!!!!!! Check out my Tread ' i have finally got a good picture' a few down from yours on the id page and see what you think. be goo if some one could id it as people are struggleing with mine even thou my picture are good!;D

    there FAST been trying to catch it all night!! im sure its breeding as i saw two the other day and ive now seen another but its tiny id say no wider than your ctrl key

    i forgot ive got a few good pics on my phone of the crab, i caught one of them in a glass a few days ago but felt bad and put it back in now i cant catch it again! ill upload pics tomorrow

    Why did you feel bad? Should have felt bad to take him to the LFS and had them take care of him. Now you won't be able to catch him!
