    Should I keep it in the frag rack to encrust or move it closer to the sand bed? Also, shouldn't it be a bit fuzzy though?

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    Probably just has no PE because of acclimation if it is a pavona. I would just leave it on the frag rack for now.

    Looks like pavona to me as well. They can encrust and cover a broad area. the one from my old tank had soem MONSTER long stingers and was a PITA! I would kill it back and it would be full strenght in a few months. keep it confined to the plug
