I have what appears to maybe be a segmented worm of some kind. Some of the research I've found points towards a fireworm but I'm not entirely sure. (it more or less looks like a centipede) I know you all want pictures but it is nocturnal and very light sensitive. It typically moves around on the same rock going in and out of the holes, though when ever I use a light to check out what it's doing its runs in to a hole which makes it difficult to figure out what it's doing.

Does anyone else have these or know what they are?....I assume I got it as a hitchhiker on one of my live rocks.

I have the same guy in my tank, it lives under a rock and comes only out at night. I found a trick to look at nightcrawlers in the dark. Use red light and not white light, some of the newer led-lamps have beside a white led also red leds. A lot of inverts don't react to them so you can look at them without them crawling away (like sea-urchins, hermits, shrimp, sea-stars,...)

Same technique that the military used at night before the night vision.

It followed its movements at night and it doesn't seem to attack anything. I don't think it is a predator because it is to shy for that. Mine has been in my tank now for more than 8 months and it just sits their under his rock and at daytime it closes it hole and reappears at night.

I look up on the internet "bristleworm" and found this website and picture. And it looks exactly at the little critter I have in my tank. And "dh1758" is that what you have also?

I have a picture now. From what I understand from my reading I shouldn't worry about it unless it gets too big...Any other thoughts?
