I am doing a dry run on my 225 I am testing. I am having a major gurgling on the left side of the front of the tank. I drilled holes in the drain 90 and still gurgling. The right side is quiet. The tank is level, that's what the level is saying, but the left side is 1/2 inch higher than the right. I am wondering if the base interior of the stand is level?

Either the interior base is unlevel, or your powerheads/pumps are making it unlevel, if you have any on and running.

The stand may be bowing under the weight of the tank or even your floor. You will want to shim the right side to get the tank level. Unless what blackraven suggested is happening. Water is the ultimate level.

All is running is the return pump.

Is the return pump on the right side of the tank? Where is the outlet positioned? What direction is it facing? How much flow is it putting out? Where is the overflow located?

The return pump is in the center. The outlets are pointed towards the side glasses. About 2200 gph at 5 ft. Overflows are at ends of tank.
