    I have been seeing alot of the 40 breeders on here and just recently got mine started so figure there is a need for this unofficial club.

    All you need is a full tank shot.

    Tank specs and or future plans.

    My 40 breeder tank.

    My first ground up build.Will be transfering my 20g into this one after the cycle.

    Coralife dual t5 ho light( 1 10k and one 420 actnic).
    Biocube skimmer (will be updating to bigger one but for now its what ive got)
    Hob filter for right now until i find a good hob sump or ref.
    1 evo 550 and will be adding my evo 425 when i make the transfer of my 20g
    1lb of lr and 15lbs of dry rock will also be adding more when i do the transfer.
    40lbs of live sand
    50 watt heater and im going to get another one when i transfer the 20g
    Metal manhattan stand from petco verdy sturdy i like it alot.

    Plan to utilize this as a frag/grow out tank for the next year until my build is complete. I am planning a 150 DT with satellite tanks(Fish QT, Frag QT, Frag Tank, Fuge, Multiple Sumps).

    Nice setup you have what do you have for a cover so your mandarin doesnt jump out.

    Clear mesh screen from BRS...and I'm not worried about the Mandarin jumping...the Wrasse would be the one to.

    cool thats what everybody has been recomending but i havent seen anyone using it so i guess thats what im going to do.What is your daily top off amount.

    I want to be part of the club! Just got my tank up and running and it's cycling now (transferred everything from a leaking 37 gal). Here's a photo BEFORE all the nasty diatoms and feather algae, oh, and before 75% of the fish died. Can't wait for the cycle to be over so I can add a new little friend!
