Very pretty tank Anna, I would remove the bioballs asap little by little and find a piece of LR you can fit back there. I'll take a photo of how I have chaeto growing in my back chamber with the light here in a moment :) Playing bf3 right now!

Here are a few shots from behind my tank and a front photo of my Biocube 29 as of today (1-8-12) It's not terribly bright right now because I just installed new LED's and I'm still acclimating my aquarium to the new lighting!

Back of tank - lamp clamped to desk, facing clear back panel:

Light turned on using 6500k bulb from Lowes:

Top view of back chambers, skimmer and chaeto together, 2lb live rock beneath the chaeto, sponge in chamber one(pushed low so it doesnt effect flow)

Front view, moved hammer corals to sand bed and torch coral away from mushroom, so they are still adjusting to their new home

    Total cost: <$20.00

Nice tank! Does the light penetrate through the vinyl in the backfir the chaeto?

Well there is a clear area that I aim the light through and yes it grows it quite well actually. The display lights do not get back there enough to my knowledge. But I am starting to see purple coralline take over the back walls in chamber 2 which is cool. Before I had chaeto I was also growing some other macro's back there with success.

Also I have a 3" xanthid crab (or stone crab) living back there since day 1. He hitch hiked on some LR and was too scary to keep in the DT but too cute to flush so he's been scavenging pretty successfully back there. Sometimes I see his molt and have to remove it. Always make me nervous sticking my hand down there now!

Nice looking set up. I like how you have the rock set up as well. Are you planning on putting corals in there? Cool name! :)
