Lol what is there to bump?

I went to Lowes yesterday and picked up some PVC, one 1" tube and one 3/4 tube each about 5'. The intake pipe will be 1" then the rest will goto 3/4 that way the intake has a nice large mouth to suck water in.

    Also picked up 2 10g tanks and a 5g for $20

Really loving the Panorama Pro upgrade, 3 modules with 36 3watt LEDs all together. 6 Whites, 18 blues, 6 magenta. Looks so amazing, especially when I mess with the dimmer.

I added blue sympodium last night and a cowrie tiger snail which have always been my favorite sea shell since I was a little kid living in Clearwater, FL. Blue sympodium seems pretty hard to find and it's very expensive lol.
They are even more beautiful IRL

Thanks, I really need to start my own thread, I bet a lot of Biocube owners would benefit from seeing the mods I've made. The Biocube is very poopy the way it comes out of the box, at least for reef tanks. Low flow, poor skimmers, poor powerheads. The whole brand is actually pretty crappy. JBJ has a much much nicer cube.

Not to say that the Biocube is not amazing, it's my first SW system and I am really happy I made the decision to invest in this hobby because it's addicting and I love it. But none the less, I've spent as much on upgrades if not more, then the Biocube itself. Also I have over 35lb of quality live rock and over 40lb of quality live sand.

Paid a little more in the beginning but I did not know anyone with an established tank to seed from, and most LR I see that's "cured" looks like crap. Mine at least already had purple growth and lots of little critters

But ya I need to make my own thread :-D

I agree. But a modded biocube is just as good as any other tank IMO.

The other day, I bought a 2yr old 29 gallon biocube, with biocube stand, biocube protein skimmer, zilla digital powerstrip, and some other nick nacks, little use on everything and it was used as a freshwater tank. I paid $100 for it all. I had to order new lights a airstone for the skimmer, filters and a biocube powerhead. I can't wait to start this thing up.

    Stock list:
30lbs of dry rock, 10lbs or live rock
    30lbs of fine aragonite
refuge and media basket in the middle section

    2 clown fish
    midas blenny
    purple firefish
    orange firefish
    blood fire shrimp

    Any thoughts?

Sounds sweet. Good luck with that skimmer.
