Unusual behavior from clowns

Okay, I have had my pair of clowns for almost two weeks now....I have noticed they are doing something out of the ordinary.....while doing what looks like their "courting rituals" they seem to get down low to the sand, and almost push their face into the sand from the side, almost if they are scratching it, and come back up....I do not see any other signs what so ever of ich or any other reasons for their behavior....and they are eating great...is it possible they might have something? Could one give them medication as a precaution? Or would a freshwater dip be in order? Would I be seeing any other signs if there were something wrong?

Any help would be appreicated...

 

Fish do some of the weirdest things. Just keep an eye on them. If you take them out and do freshwater dips because of a perceived problem you are just going to stress them out.
Let them do their thing and make sure there really is a problem before you try anything.

I would not worry about it. Mine have been doing the same thing since I got them 5 months ago.
