unusual behavior of my clown

    i have a maroon clown about 2.5" big and i noticed an unusual behavior when i got home today. the fish is making a burrow on my sand under a small rock cave. anybody has any idea what this fish is doing. is it spawning? i have no idea. :confused:

    if its on its own, then its not spawning

    it may well be creating a territory that it can protect easily and guard its rear and flanks

    i see. thanks for the knowledge. actually there were two of them and just recently separated them to separate tanks last sunday. who knows, she could be pregnant by the time of the separation. ;D;D;D;D;D;D

    seperated to seperate tanks, will eliminate spawning from the list of possible reasons
    for certain
