[UPDATE]Another Problem UGHHHHHHH

i wouldnt expect much credit for your coral beauty. i had a half black dwarf angel then it started nipping my coral I took it in to get credit and all they could give me was 10 bucks. I paid about 40 for it

 

remember the store has to make money i be surprised if you got over 10 dollors

 

It all hinges on the relationship you have with your primary LFS. If you are buying supplies/fishes/corals routinely they would be stupid to try to undercut you so much. Credit for supplies is a lot less out of their pocket then the money they can get for a healthy CB. If I was not able to deal with my LFS on a reasonable exchange they would not see me again. SW is expensive, I will go to whom ever treats me fairly.

 

It also depends on the stores stock. if they already have more coral beautys then they sell then they probably wouldnt give you anything for it. My whole tank setup is all from the same store I go to every week and know everyone that works there but they couldnt give me more than 10 dollars for mine because they already had alot. I get free saltwater from there alot so I wasnt to upset over the low price they offered

 

I would expect $10, they sell for about $20 at my local stores and online.
