    I hate to break this to you KC but I don't think this is possible after spawning. From what I have read they do a courtship rise to the top of the tank before releasing eggs. Is this before or after you noticed spawning. This may be the female holding eggs before releasing them...
    Something like this may be useful in your overflow or sump to try to collect some eggs DIY Egg Trap
