In their offer, they specify they want the entire system, even the maintenance "tools"....that alone tells me they know nothing about a reef tank and it will all die in no time. I understand why they want it but I don't think they understand what it takes. They probably believe all the corals are plastic decorations.

Jon, for the right offer I could leave it.....I would even offer to teach them everything they need to know to take care of it...done it before on my last tank. I'm around this wknd, let me know when you want to stop by for the anemone.

These days I don't dose anything on a regular basis, other than the Ca reactor. Whenever I remember I might dose some lugals here and there and every ~8 wks after I do a WC, I dose some Mg.

That's always an option, but I'm not sure I want to start all over again. I think the only reason I'm still in the hobby is because the tank is all grown out and needs minimal maintenance. If I get the right price for the house and the buyer has an interest in learning about the hobby I would probably leave it and get out of the hobby, sometimes I do get bored with it....maybe I should put the entire system up for sale and see what happens ;D We're thinking about building a house which will take a while, if I sell the tank I don't have to worry about moving it somewhere temporary....still kicking around that thought.

Ok, so less than 6 wks before I leave my tank behind....starting to regret my decision....these days I spend a bit more time looking at the tank when I feed the fish.
