Faced with a very tough decision...

Thinking about selling our home and buying (possibly building) another home, not very easy, especially in this realestate market...what to do with my reef???

Took me a long time to grow these large colonies from frags, I would definitely prefer to keep them because I probably wouldn't get much for them....but I don't know how long it would take to move into the new home and where I would keep my livestock...last think I want to do is kill them due to a lack of care.

Anyone been through this recently? What did you do?

Do you have a LFS that might hold them for you until you are in the new home?

Worse case I might have to look into that....but I don't want my livestock mixed with anything at the LFS, it would have to be a stand alone system that I maintain on a daily basis.

Here's an interesting pic of my coral bandeds feeding eachother a few minutes ago....notice the egg sack.

Hey Martin. I moved my tank about 8-9 months ago. It was a pain but maybe not as bad as you'd think, although, my tank had nowhere near the environment yours does.. I was also setting up a new tank so I got that put together before I moved my old tank. Let me know if I can help with anything.

I read it's not that easy to keep them alive but we'll see...interesting anyway.

Thanks Jon, I might take you up on that offer when that time comes.
