Finally got moved into a new house (thanks chris) and so did my fish and corals. My reef tank went from a sumpless 36g bowfront to a 55g with a 30g sump and external pump. What a huge difference, my fish are very happy. They ate the same day they got moved and all my corals and clams were open within an hour. I upgraded my light system as well. A 36" 6x39watt T-5 system lit up the bowfront, now the 55 is lit by a 48" 2x150watt 14k metal halide and 4x54watt T-5 system with integrated leds. I love the new light, the tank looks amazing. In a couple weeks my 125g tank will have water in it and a few fish are being moved from the 55. I was stressed with moving the tanks but now I'm excited that I get to do it all over again and make serious improvements. I can't get the lighting right with my phone, pics don't do it justice with the beautiful shimmer it has.

Thanks everyone. It was tough to do in 2 days time. Corailline, I'll never have PE like you, lol. Marshall, every bit of coral came out of the 36 bowfront. Didnt realize how much things have grown. OFK, I loaded all the fish and coral in seperate boxes of styrofoam to help keep temp stable. I kept my live rock in tubs with power heads until it was ready to aqua scape. I used all brand new fiji pink sand since my old sand was nasty.

Looks good! I recently upgraded my 26 bow to a 55 during a move too, similar boat. Moving is such a pain and so stressful, this time around I dropped my fish off at a hotel (aka one of my LFS) for two weeks while I transitioned.

Hope all goes well with the 125.

Thanks guys. I've got a bunch of boxes left over chris so let me know when your ready to move. Styrofoam worked great.
