Well I finally upgraded the pc 322w to 8x80 t5's. My question is I had a 10 hour photoperiod with the pc's, should I crank the time down for a while with the t5? If so how much and for how long? Thanks

Firstly how deep is your tank? i had 4x39watt whites and 2x20watt actinics on my 55 when i had t5's it is 19" water deep.

I would start off with similar and keep them on for 6 hours upping the time an extra hour every couple of days, especially if you have corals. give them chance to acclimate to the new lights...

FYI: I moved your thread from the "Reno Area Reef Society" forum and placed it into the lighting section. Please be conscious of the location you are starting a thread being sure you are in the right location.

Tank is 20" deep, I know this lighting may be overkill, but I plan next year to get an even bigger tank. If this is too much light I can just not run all 8 bulbs too.

Will do on the location of my posts. Thanks
