I am wanting to upgrade from pc's to t5's. I have a 75g and was wondering if 4x54 was sufficient to keep LPS and SPS or do I need to go for the 6x54? I also was wanting enough to keep a bubble anemone for my clowns. That's the main reason for the upgrade. I don't want to go MH as my electric bill is high enough with what I already have. Thanks !!

In my opinion, go with the 6 to offer more lighting as you never know what light loving corals or other animals you may seek to add.

Exactly I agree I have "combined" 1,520 watts of light halide/VHO
avg's out to be 6.9 watts per gallon of water of course my tank is 30 inches deep .

It's better to have the light/s avalible for use' than "under buy" a lighting system , once bought your stuck with what ya got and corals are all to often hungry for the ever precious light .

So i would say buy more than you would expect to use , ( you can always set it to cycle as needed )
and you have more options as to what you can keep in the reef .
