I have a 36" long, 65 Gal Reef tank (about 16" from the top to the sand bed) that I am rejuvinating. Currently it has 4, 95w VHO and I would like new lighting. I have been looking at the current outer orbit because they have I can get Metal Halide, T5 and lunar lights. I love the idea of 24 hr light cycles. I dont currently have any SPS but would like to get some, hence the MH lighting. My questions are:
    1) Does anyone have experience with Current lighting and if so..your thoughts.
    2) Should I get 1, 150w MH with 2 96w pc's and 4 lunar lights or 2 150w MH with 4 39w T5's and 18 lunar lights? Id the second choice overkill?
    3) I am open to suggestions so please feel free...

    Thanks

This topic regularly gets alot of different replies, but I will tell you that a "general" rule of thumb is 7-9 watts per gal of water. So in your case, you should have 455-585 watts of lighting.
