Upgrading Tank But Not Light?

    Since I'm moving in a couple weeks was curious if it was possible to upgrade my tank size and not necessarily my lights. Currently I'm running a 48" 6bulb t5, on my 75 gal, and looking to get a 125g. Its about 30" longer in length so if I were to center the light about 15" on either side and has the same depth.
    Would this be okay assuming I have enough flow, or would I have other problems since some areas wont have light or would the light be able to spread that far?

    The ends would not have light and you would need to keep that in mind when placing coral.
