Nice, I wish I had 2 Vegas in place of my 2 SOL over my breeder.

Drill it! Just kidding I have a 40B with two maxi-jets (900 and 1200) I kind of wish the 1200 was a nine but just because of some sand movement from time to time. I wish I had 2 Vegas as well. Those lights will look so awesome over a 40B.

LOL I wish I had two also. But for now, one is still fantastic. My tank is starting out on the cheap. I don't even have a sump (I don't have room for it anyway). I'm still not sure if I'm going to drill it. My BF is a patient man, but I probably shouldn't push too much harder... If I did, he might not do the mods needed for the canopy lol;)

Anyways, thanks for the congrats. Hopefully my tank is up to par with your guys one day.

Nice set up! Welcome to the 40 breeder club. I can't wait to see it all up and running. I saw on your first post you were thinking about getting a smart wave. I have one myself hooked up to 2 korailias. It may be the model power heads I have, but the propellor tends to reverse its spin. So the smart wave will click them off and on, but half the time the power heads would be sucking in water rather than moving it forward. It may just be the model I have, but just thought i'd let ya know my experience.

Thanks:) Your build thread is the one that finally convinced me to go for it. Just so you know, I'm totally ripping off some of your ideas:)
I've heard a lot of people say that the koralias click. Which power heads do you have? Someone else suggested the 1600gph JBJ oceanstream kit. That one seems pretty good too. The only complaints I've heard on it is that one of the fitting is a bit fragile.

I was just looking up the reef octopus skimmers. Orginally I was checking out the one ingtar suggested, the BH-100F, but I just found this one BH100T. Looks like the same thing basically but it has ATO. what do you guys think?

looks good, I just got the SCA 302 and I freaking love it. The difference is night and day between that and my old "skimmer". first time I have had to empty a skimmer cup every other day or so. If you run a sump I would look at the reviews done on here and try SCA. for the price you can not beat it.
