Hey everyone just upgraded to a 55 gallon tank, with coralife compact florescents, very excited. I have 55lbs of sand at about 17lbs of live rock. Any tips on cycling faster, I did a water change on my 29 that has been up four about five months and place the ten gallons I took out of it into the 55. Any other ideas to help me cycle faster would be appreciated.

it seems your doing everything correctly, I never tried it, but you can buy certain additives that add the bacteria to your tank. These products mention that that aid in the cycling time. You could try something like that.

I think that you should try not to rush the cycle , this will help you in the future to maintain a great tank :)
