More then likely your water parems were off..hence why your anemone was moving around.
This can sting your corals also!

Sorry to inform you guys but my jelly is DEAD! My koralia powerhead sucked it up and sliced it to pieces! A bit of advice have a different kind of powerhead, otherwise he was fine.

yeah I know, its just that we all want to play god and see what we can put in our tanks! I haven't done a water change yet, he was still alive when I found him pressed up against the koralia. I turned it off and his underside had been ripped off! Ooch, everything in the tank is happy so far and its almost been a week.

Darn, I'm gone for a couple days and I see this. I would have suggested that you remove it a long time ago. Unless you have a tank specifically designed for a jelly, I would NEVER suggest anyone getting into jellies. They are extremely hard to care for since they are so delicate and so easily caught in overflows, pumps, powerheads etc. I had one in my nanocube and placed floss over the intake, and that wasn't even enough.

Playing God....I am sorry that is exactly the thinking that is getting this hobby into trouble!

If you would have done even a little bit of research on this animal, or even read anything that was posted then you would have known that this was going to happen. You are lucky that you did not nuke your whole tank

Did you at least euthanize the jelly that had its whole underside ripped off....it is slowly starving to death because it can not get its nutrition in. That is one way you can play God..put it out of its misery

Wow aren't we sensitive Schackmel, if I listened to every so called expert on this site or at my LFS I would be broke and confused. You would be amazed how may fish, corals and anenomes break the norm and coexist in people tanks. It was worth a shot, I'm sure you have lost something in your tank or are you perfect like GOD?
