    they eat non stop.they do not play when it comes to eating.

    They Graze all the time.. there is a difference.. Like with tangs and many wild reef animals in the wild they graze and never eat.. ;)

    Only damage is they poke them as they move about and that can open a sps to infections and harm the LPS and softs awell.

    Now for purple up if you ever used a good agragonite sand and rinsed out all the milky with dust ? Thats purple up with some extra strontium and boosted ca and carbonates mixed with Name eludes me now sold at any pharmacy used to thicken coughsurps and elixirs and such Glycerin thats its name :) You can buy the dry agramight and get the same bennift at far less cost..Of maintian higher levels of ca and carbonates .. Thats all we do here and I never rinse my sand out

    lol tangster good point.i guess we all graze when we go to the kitchen and look in the fridge and grab a beer lol

    thats very interesting.
    However im not very chemically inclined so ill just happily pay to have it pre formulated lol.
    I didn't take any of the milky stuff out when i bought my live sand either, i figured thats part of what im paying for ill be damm&& if its going down t'bog.
