Hey there i have a 6gal fluval edge that I have set up with shrimp crabs, and snails, thinking about adding a black sea urchin to my tank. Will a black sea urchin be able live comfortably in my tank?

I might for a week and would have to be really really small (dime size or smaller) and even then it would probly to big.

they need a good bit of algae to survive... it might not be too happy.
Additionally, they are very sensitive to nitrate and salinity and both will be harder to control in such a small tank.

Like a black long-spike? Nope. Ever seen those things in the wild? I have, they get HUUUUGE!!!

How's the tank coming, anyway? Any pics? Haven't seen you around for a while.

Edit: Everything I see says minimum 20 gallons. They needs lots of algae (except the one that eats other inverts LOL), and plenty of places to hide. They're also nocturnal, so not out much in the day & need shaded areas to hide.
