My tuxedo urchin is now proudly adorned with about a dozen zoanthids it seemed to bulldoze them off the rock they were on and them pick them up and put onto its back. Is it worth it to take them back or is this going to be a repeated theme?

It will be repeated whenever the urchin goes by them. It will most likely release them at night.

only seems right it goes well with the hunk of macro algae and the half dozen empty snail shells.

At least they're empty shells! I used to have one that would pick hermits up & carry them around. It even took the lettuce clip for a ride a couple times.

It is going to happen all the time, mine repeatedly went for a few of my sps corals and kept knocking over other corals.

certainly an interesting creature to have in the tank. I can accept these oddities in exchange for the enjoyment of ownership. Unless it causes death to my zoas then all bets are off

Mine has a small GSP colony and a frag of cabbage leather along with a zoa. He is quite the colourful urchin now.;)
