Urchin?

    I found this little white fuzz ball lookin' thing a while back, thought it was a sponge, didn't think anything of it. I bumped into it when I was flipping over a snail (I do this almost daily, makes me wonder how they survive in the wild).
    But when i bumped into it, it was sharp. So I wonder if it's some kind of urchin?

    That would make sense, it looks like a pineapple.
