I leave a small net in my sump to catch pods so that I can give my clowns a treat from time to time.
Today I didn't see the small bw in there until I shook the net out in the dt.

The male hit the worm first but spit it, causing it to ball up. Before I could react the female inhaled it. Now stuck right at the opening of her stomach. She's trying to shake it out but is having problems breathing. Her mouth is wide open I can see the worm in there. Is there anything I can do or is she a goner? I'm so upset right now, I want to help her but am afraid of adding to her stress.

Sorry to hear buddy, but I know of no remedy that won't likely make the situation worse.

Dang! bristles caught in her throat!?!?!? Holy crap! Unless it was a big clown like a maroon, there is probably nothing you can do. If it was a maroon, you could probably handle it and snag it out with a tweezers. Hopefully the worm lets loose and gets spit out. I wish her the best of luck
