Urgent! Clown ate a bristleworm!

    This is right after the accident. A few minutes later she moved to the bottom of the tank and laid on her side on top of my Welso. I thought she was done for because she was really laboring to breath. I tried to net her after a few minutes but she swam up into the rocks onto a hammer skeleton.


    She's been hanging out there since. Her mouth is still open and she's still breathing heavy but just a minute ago I put my finger tip on the water surface and she came up with her mate, looking for food like she always does.

    It was a scare but I think she's going to be alright. Thanks for your concern, sorry to panic like a newbie.

    this is gonna sounds dumb, but what kind of clowns are those? the coloring looks different from a perc or occ.

    They are perculas. I always thought they were oc's until I took a pic of them both broad side with their dorsal fins up. They both have 10 rays and not the 11 that Ocellaris have. I did purchase them as Oc from Petco though.

    oh petco im so glad there aren't any near me :) haha well i really like the coloring compared to the tank raised ones at my lfs. but how is the clown doing?
