I can't find that product on the internet....I can only find the Red Sea Iodine Test kits. Can you read the bottle and tell us if it says it's Iodine, Iodide, or Iodate?

    That's fine then.

A couple of years back some companies were selling Tincture of Iodine as a reef supplement. That's not something I would want to use unless I was desperate.

Make sure your dip water is the same ph and temperature as the tank water.

Dip complete, 15 seconds each, will see how they go overnight, should i repeat this dip every day, and if so for how long? i'm at a loss has to what has caused this.

    Thanks...

Stingray, I just went through this myself. I was told on here and by my LFS that iodine or any other did is almost useless. You must cut off the infected heads completely. I did and my frog spawn is fine. I was also told that SG swing or Temp swing was a culprit. I didn't think either of these applied, however, one day shortly after the outbreak I was feeding the fish and just happened to notice I wasn't hearing my canopy fan. I checked and somehow the plug going into the fan had come loose. I checked the water temp and it was up from 77 to 82. I have secured that plug now. My event happened while I was on vacation so I now figure the fan had stopped for a day or so.
