actually it's not Blue Tsunami issue but I believe some setup issue. As per attached picture, once water goes down below low level, ATO turns on pump and turns off pump once high level reached. But even after pump turned off, water still flowing to sump and eventually causes flooding.

What could be reason? 32G brute water container placed atleast 10 inches below sump height and also other end of tube in sump is well above water level. do I need to add any gate or check valve?

the water is siphoning. you could raise the pipe where the water is coming out higher up. the pipe Needs to be even with the water level inside the brute.

When using large containers, its' best to do some hard plumbing (or anything larger diameter than the tube from the ato pump. And run it from the top of the barrel to the sump, then just run the ato pump up to the start of that plumbing and let gravity bring it back to the sump.

In your picture, you would have to hard plumb from the stand entry point back down. What ever the highest point is, is best.

i thought same but thats max height i can leave pipe in sump. it's now sitting 1 inch on top in sump cant take even further up.

check valve wont help here?? i know it works to avoid back siphon but not sure in this case.

No matter what, the end point for the ato pump has to have higher than the water level in your ATO bucket. So you can run the pipe I'm suggesting up the back of the tank and just execute it there. As long as it's higher than the water level you are good.

I did EXACTLY what you did about a month ago, lol. So don't feel bad. But this method is pretty easily adaptable and is working great for me.

Got a new taller ato bucket and nearly caused a major issue!

IMO, it will still siphon in the last pic passively, unless the pump has a valve, or you have a float valve. The ATO container level is higher than the sump level.

I do not have the same set up however.
My DIY ATO works flawlessly, and no containers to ever fill.
