    Is there a usb device and software that can return a spectrum analysis of the water in your tank. I would love something like this. Currently I am using water test kits and trying to match the color. However I am color blind. : (

    You are referring to analytical spectrophotometer. Hmm, for a price of an average device that can do the analysis in the visible part of the spectrum you could buy brand new car :) The cuvette for water sample made of special quartz glass costs at least 300-500$ :)

    I didn't realize I was color blind until I started using these water tests!!! They can be difficult.
