Just popped into my head, has anyone ever placed a return pump in the overflow section of a rr tank and had it pump back into the display?
My tank has 2 spots where return pipes can go through the overflow and I'm only using one right now. I could do this and it would add a lot of flow while not having the look of powerheads. Kinda like a closed loop.

I would think you would need some neoprene mouse pads to prevent vibration. Other than that, I don't see any issues.

The only thing I see happening is it will cause the tank to overflow quicker/more but it won't change how much is going down the durso. I may give this a whirl.
    Has anyone ever done this?
