already dosed first 2 days. was expecting skimmer to go nuts but nothing yet. i am going to go ahead and do my weekly water change for today and then dose the az-no3 for the third day. i don't know if any of you have any experience with this stuff but the doses double every day up to a certain point then the same amount until nitrates are undetectable. then you start to decrease the doses until nitrates start showing up again.
i may have to get some bacteria in a bottle to help start the bacteria bloom that needs to be skimmed out. if any body has used az-no3 before, how many days did it take before skimmer started going nuts? did you pour the stuff in your sump or dose directly in display tank?
    thanks,

i actually have used this stuff and i can say that it does work. i followed the instructions up to the 8th day? i think.
but the downside is once you stop dosing, nitrates start being detected again so i stopped using it.
why pay for something when i can control my nitrates with controlled feeding and frequent water changes.

my skimmer never acted nuts with this stuff. but skimmate was better when i was dosing microbacter7 and reef bio fuel.

so, should i get some microbacter7? or will az-no3 work by itself?
did you dose it in the display tank or in your sump?
