Maybe just try for the 25ppm/day increase to start with if you are concerned. I would also suggest that you only try to increase the Mag for the next few days, don't add anything for Alk and/or Calc, that way you should see a true picture of the Mag level increasing without any interference. :)

Wow, you read my mind! I actually decided to raise it by 25 using the SeaChem mag additive I bought last weekend. It does seem to be a bit different from Epsom salt as the crystal structure/shape isn't the same. I'm thinking it's more of a magnesium chloride. At any rate, so far so good!

Now, I'm off to do my weekly water tests and look forward to the coral propagation workshop this afternoon. Been looking forward to this one! [smiley=biggrinbounce.gif]

Hey, don't make me feel guilty! :-/ I'll be sure to let you know all about it! They are shooting a video, but not sure what they are going to do with it yet. With any luck I'll be able to get my hands on a copy to share.

Hopefully my club will be able to set up a workshop like yours some day. Who's teaching it?

For some reason, I believe that you would have laid it on much thicker ::)

The workshop was great and I gots lots of frags to care for, in fact, I'm still mounting stuff. As an added bonus, I met beamer and her hubby!

Sounds like you had a great time! I didn't even realize that you and beamer were in the same area! That must have been fun.

What kind of frags did you bring home?
