    Pipe organ doesn't = daisy polyps ;) A pipe is a pipe, red tubular calcium base with single polyps. Daisy polyp is a softie, conected by webbing. Both are common names.

    i don't have a cal reactor. I'm just gonna use epsom salt and then hopefully i will have the right level cal too. it's been like 260 for a bout 3 months because of the mag. How does mag go down.

    HL, keep an eye on the salinity, as that will increase with the Mag...it increases as well with the calcium additions. Have you checked salinity in a while? When I had the mag problem, I ended up doing a large water change to get everything a little more normalized and then added the mag. Let us know how you make out with that. :)

    Sorry, I am not sure what makes Mag go down but since I have gotten it to 1400 it has been staying with no additional additive of Mag.
