i"m not convinced that garlic gets rid of ich but it does stimulate the fish to eat which will in turn help it to survive the ich. yes, you can feed the garlic daily. As long as they are eating they should be able to survive and build immunities for the parasite.

From my understanding, garlic is not an actual TREATMENT for ich. Garlic is a supplement that attracts a fish to eat which is key in keeping it healthy which can help it combat the infestation.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

You are right it does strengthen there immune system and entices the fish to eat I soaked my food in garlic when my royal gramma had ich and it was cured up in no time. When you get in trouble is when they stop eating :(

I supplement my pellets with garlic as a treat once or twice a week.

I had a tank full of fish die from ick and when I replaced them I started feeding with garlic every few days. When I introduced my Sailfin Tang he came down with ick a few days later and I soaked all food in garlic and it went away in a day or so. After losing five fish to ick and seeing good results I am sold on the use of garlic. My 2 cents...

my stepson's blue tang had the ick. i started feeding it mysis shrimp with garlic guard, like i do my own fish. within a couple of days the ick went away. I did nothing else to it. i'm not saying it cured it, but it helped get rid of it. the first picture is of the tang with the ick. the second is the tang now.

I have seen great results with garlic against internal parasites too. My anthias had stringy poo and I started feeding garlic with the food and it went away.
