    Garlic may do something to sustain the immune system, it's seem to entice fish to eat more aggressively.

    However, the parasite responsible for marine ich (cryptocaryon irritans) is still present in the system, the fish are no longer symptomatic. Any stress related to a decline in water conditions, bullying, or overstocking will allow the parasite to once again gain an opportunistic foot hold.

    Different strokes for different folks and fish? I feed mine garlic every day on nori and frozen. Crossing my fingers no signs yet. Just some scratches and torn fins but they seem to heal on their own.
