Its nice because i can use the ustream app on my phone to view the tank from work. I might find a better way to make this a permanent thing

Dbo i will do some research on this. An IP camera is what you need but im not familiar with setting them up. Ustream requires a computer no matter what, but an IP cam wouldn't. Maybe evolved will chime in, i believe he had an IP cam on his setup if i remember correctly.

lol thats actually the second one I posted, yeah it should work great and its cheaper on amazon, not by much but hey a couple bucks is a couple bucks lol

I live stream video game play as a second hobby of mine so if you have any questions fire away just remember you want to have a decent connection so you have as little lag as possible

Whats the highest res on that cam? And does it allow you to just give out an address so that anyone can view it but not control it?

good call on resolution, this might be a better option Amazon.com: (NEW ARRIVAL!) HooToo® HT-IP210HD Indoor Wireless IP Camera (H.264 720P, 2-Way Audio, Pan/Tilt 320°/120°, 16-LED Night Vision, IR Filter, SD Slot), Black: Electronics

it records in 720p and it has the capability to just give out an address for people to view
