    Anyone use big pond pumps or like 1/6 hp pumps in their sumps? are they really loud? looking at an engineered resin 2000 gph fully submersible from rigid, $67.99. It has some screws on the outside but i could replace them with stainless steel?

    I have also looked at these and decided that they wouldn't hold up to the constant punishment saltwater can dish out.

    If I were you I'd look into and Mag 18, Mag 24, or Little Giant. I run two little Giants on my closed loop and love them.
